TRAINER FAMILIARISATION COURSE

COURSE FEE OF £449 + VAT INCLUDES:

• General Health & Safety Trainer Manual complete with trainers’ notes, flipchart masters, handouts.
• 50 minute Safety Video covering health & safety law; fire safety; electricity; alcohol, drugs & violence; falls from height; chemical safety; display screen equipment; accidents & first aid; basic manual handling; and personal protective equipment.
• Safety Management / Risk Assessment Trainers Manual complete with trainers notes, coloured view foils and handouts. 
• HSS Legislative Risk Assessment Manual complete with Risk Assessment Forms.
• Supporting video covering hazards & risks in a variety of healthcare settings. 
• Computer CD containing Presentation, Handouts, Assessments Forms, Test Papers and Certificate Masters for both general & management training.
• Tea / Coffee / Lunch on both days

 This is the ideal package for senior staff in residential care / nursing homes and those providing care in the community who may be called upon to deliver health & safety awareness training to employees and safety management / risk assessment training to senior staff members. Training provides the skills necessary to run two courses with separate training material provided for each.

HSS Health & Safety Trainers Package handouts can be photocopied to provide your own staff with their course material.

At the end of the course participants will be able to train employees at all levels in their organisation to:        

• Identify the hazards and risks to themselves and others who may be affected by what they do
• Identify areas requiring risk assessment
• Describe suitable preventative or remedial action
• Assist in the risk assessment process
• Relate health and safety management and systems to their working environment.
