TRAINER FAMILIARISATION COURSE

COURSE FEE OF £449 + VAT INCLUDES:

• Challenging Behaviour Trainer Manual complete with trainers’ notes, coloured view foils, workbooks and handouts.
• 30 minute Dementia Video.
• Computer CD containing Presentation, Handouts, Assessments Forms, Test Papers and Certificate Masters for all four sessions of training.
• Tea / Coffee / Lunch on both days

 This is the ideal package for senior staff in residential care / nursing homes and those providing care in the community who may be called upon to deliver challenging behaviour training to management and employees. Training provides the skills necessary to run four separate training sessions with separate training material provided for each.

HSS Challenging Behaviour Trainers Package handouts can be photocopied to provide your own staff with their course material.

At the end of the course participants will be able to train employees at all levels in their organisation to:
               

• Know the different types of dementia
• Understand what it may be like to have dementia
• Be aware of the importance of person centred care
• Understand the importance of good communication
• Know how to improve care they deliver to people with dementia
• Support relationships of people with dementia
• Understand the reasons for behaviour we may find difficult
