TRAINER FAMILIARISATION COURSE

COURSE FEE OF £299 + VAT INCLUDES:

• Trainers Manual complete with trainers notes, flipchart masters, handouts.
• Food Hygiene Video covering personal protection; food purchase plan; the main food poisoning bacteria; in-transit protection, safe storage plan; food preparation plan; clean up campaign; cooking safely; eight food hygiene sections in all.
• Computer CD containing Presentation, Handouts and Certificate Masters
• The training day include teas, coffees & lunch

This is the ideal package for senior staff in residential care / nursing homes and those providing care in the community who may be called upon to deliver food hygiene awareness training to employees. 

On completion of the course, candidates will be able to:

• Understand what is meant by food poisoning & contamination
• Understand the cost of poor food hygiene control
• Understand the benefits of good food hygiene control
• Understand food safety legislation
• Understand how food poisoning & contamination can be prevented

Our tutors will take participants through the training package stage by stage, answering any questions they may have at the end of each section.  HSS Food Hygiene Package handouts can be photocopied to provide your own staff with their course material.
