TRAINER FAMILIARISATION COURSE

• Video covering a variety of situations where delegates need to decide if where and where not abuse is taking place.
• Computer CD containing Presentation, Handouts and Certificate Masters
• The training day include teas, coffees & lunch

This is the ideal package for senior staff in residential care / nursing homes and those providing care in the community who may have to deliver protection of vulnerable adult training to management and employees.

On completion of the course participants will be able to:

• Understand what is meant by the term 'vulnerable adult'
• Understand the forms abuse may take
• Recognise signs and symptoms of abuse
• Know what to do and what not to do when abuse takes place

Our tutors will take participants through the training package stage by stage, answering any questions they may have at the end of each section.  HSS Protection of Vulnerable Adults Package handouts can be photocopied to provide your own staff with their course material.
